Oregon ABLE is launching new monthly webinars!
There are three types of webinars available:
- Oregon ABLE 101: This is an introduction to ABLE. It is geared for people who don’t have an account and want to know more about how the program works.
When: 2nd Wednesday of every month at noon and 6 p.m.
- How to Use Your Oregon ABLE Account: This is geared for people who have accounts but want more info on how to use it. This will cover everything from how to do certain things like make a withdrawal on the website, to how long it takes to transfer money into the account.
When: 3rd Wednesday of every month at noon and 6 p.m.
- Invaluable series: Every month Oregon ABLE will have an expert come and talk to about different financial topics. January will be about budgeting and money management and February will be about setting attainable financial goals. Topics will get more advanced over the course of the year and include topics like building credit and how to start working without losing benefits. The series is specifically tailored to adults/youth with disabilities since most financial literacy programs don’t factor in the reality of living with a disability.
