Kyle grew up in Northern California and graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 2020 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology.

Kyle recently moved to Oregon to be closer to family and is loving her new rural lifestyle living with goats, horses, dogs, cats, and frogs!

She has worked with the elderly population in various capacities, such as caregiving, housing, and case management, for the past 8 years and is excited about her transition to helping customers in the I/DD field.

When Kyle isn’t working, you will find her in the kitchen cooking and baking or playing with her goat and dog outside.  She is always up for an adventure and is enjoying exploring all that Oregon has to offer.

Kristin B.

Kristin lived in Klamath Falls for a lot of her childhood before returning to California. She moved back to Klamath Falls in 2004.

Kristin graduated from the Oregon Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology. She previously worked for Connections Case Management, as a Personal Agent, for just shy of three years before leaving to take care of a family member. She is excited to rejoin the team.

Outside of work, Kristin enjoys kayaking and camping with her husband and stepdaughter, spending time with her dog Oakley, tending to her chickens, and breeding and showing Mini Rex rabbits.

Shanai B. Personal Agent

Shanai was born and raised in Roseburg, but left briefly to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Oregon State University in 2020.

Before coming to Connections Case Mgmt, she worked with parents struggling with mental health and substance use. She found a love for advocating and helping those in her community connect with local resources.

In her free time you can find her reading a good book, cooking, being outdoors, and playing with her 6 year old German Shepherd Dog, Lucy.

Erika grew up in New Hampshire, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2015, and has been in the human services field ever since. She began as a residential counselor working with children in DCYF care, and then transitioned to the I/DD field as a case manager in New Hampshire, prior to moving to Coos Bay and joining Connections as a Personal Agent.

Outside of work, Erika spends her time hiking and camping, cooking, going to concerts, and hanging out with her partner, dog, and cats.

Irene K. Personal Agent

Irene grew up in Denver, Colorado but also spent some time in the Czech Republic. Czech was Irene’s first language, but she did not retain any accent. Irene is a graduate of Klamath Community College, as well as Oregon Institute of Technology, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Applied Psychology.  After graduation, Irene and her husband returned to Colorado for a few years; and then moved back to Klamath for a quieter life in mid-2022. Irene has been in the psychology/social services field since 2014 and is passionate about being an advocate for individuals with I/DD.

Outside of work, Irene enjoys traveling, gardening, camping, kayaking, gem and mineral collecting, visiting the ocean & spending time with her husband and K9 fur-baby, Bandit.

Irene is passionate about this field and is very excited to be a part of such a wonderful team at Connections Case Management!

Jessica has lived in Southern Oregon for most of her adult life. As a child, she moved around a lot because her stepfather was in the Navy. She attended kindergarten and first grade in Japan. She has four little brothers, three of which are teenagers! She lives with her daughter and cat, Nugget.

Jessica has worked in the I/DD field for 6+ years. Most recently as an instructional assistant for an elementary school developmental learning center. She graduated with an associates degree in education from Eastern Gateway Community College in 2021.

Jessica likes to spend her free time reading, traveling, and attending community events. She also enjoys volunteering, most recently she volunteered with F.E.A.T.T helping run the sensory booth at the Douglas County Fair.

Angela grew up in Bay Area, California. She served in the Air Force and received her Bachelor of Science in Human Services.  She began working in the I/DD field 10 years ago as a Personal Support Worker.  She has worked in various roles in the field including managing an adult day program as well as residential programs.

Angela recently moved to Roseburg with her husband and two fur babies, Zoey and Penny Lane.  They moved to be closer to her husband’s family and spend their free time in the outdoors.  Some of Angela’s favorite things include: the mountains, chocolate, fishing, hiking, gardening, coffee, reading, Led Zeppelin, cooking & spending time with her husband and fur babies.

Staci has lived in Douglas County since 2006. She has spent the past twenty+ years serving in various social services positions.

Staci has two amazing adult daughters and two incredible granddaughters. She has four fur grandsons and two fur babies of her own.

In her free time, you will find her surrounded by family & friends at the beach, on the lake fishing, or exploring the beautiful outdoors. She enjoys reading suspense novels and baking treats for her friends and loved ones. She also loves to spend time volunteering in the community for various animal rescues.

Bernarda has spent her entire life in Coos County.

She has worked more than 25 years in social services including a number of years working with community members with I/DD.  She joined Connections in 2021, where she found a rewarding career helping individuals achieve their goals and live their best lives.

Outside of work, Bernarda and Dennis enjoy spending time with each others adult children and growing number of many grandchildren.  She loves camping, gardening and spending as much time at the beach as possible.

After earning her BA in Spanish at Oregon State University, Casey began her career as a Kindergarten teacher in Corvallis. She returned to her hometown of Klamath Falls a few years later to take a position in Victim’s Advocacy at The Klamath County District Attorney’s Office. 

Now, Casey is excited to be serving her community as a PA with Connections. 

Outside of work, Casey loves painting, music, and all creative things! When she isn’t spending time with her family, friends, or cute little cat named Cat, you can catch her exploring the beautiful trails around the basin.
