Shantell was born in Roseburg (Oregon), but spent most of her childhood in Arizona while her father served in the United States Marine Corps.
In 2014 she graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelors in Human Development and Family Sciences. After graduating, she began working with the county’s mental health program before transitioning to ID/DD services in 2016.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, going to the movies, and attending concerts.
